The Short Version

By opting in, you agree to receive recurring automated text messages from GTI Petro. Consent is not a condition of any purchase. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies; promotional messages are sent no more than four (4) times per month. Reply STOP to cancel, HELP for help. We never share your mobile number or your consent with anyone for their marketing.

1. Program Description

Genesys Technologies Inc., a California corporation doing business as GTI Petro ("GTI Petro," "we," "us," or "our"), operates a text-message program for its customers and prospective customers (the "Program"). The Program sends two kinds of messages:

Service and transactional messages — dispatch and appointment confirmations, technician arrival and status updates, quote and work-order notifications, parts and scheduling updates, billing and payment reminders, subscription renewal reminders, and safety, recall, or compliance notices.

Promotional messages — information about our services, loyalty and maintenance program offers, seasonal promotions, and company news.

2. Consent

You consent to receive text messages from GTI Petro when you provide your mobile telephone number and affirmatively opt in by any of the following methods: (a) checking the SMS opt-in box on a form at www.gtipetro.com; (b) signing a proposal, service agreement, or enrollment form that includes the text-message consent line; (c) texting a keyword to 1-424-433-5236; (d) giving verbal consent to a GTI Petro dispatcher or office representative when booking a service call by phone at 1-888-450-0484, after being told that message and data rates may apply, that message frequency varies, that you may reply STOP at any time, and that consent is not a condition of service; or (e) confirming in writing, by email to info@gtipetro.com, that you wish to receive text updates at a specified mobile number. In each case we record the date, time, method, and mobile number so we can demonstrate your consent.

By opting in, you agree that GTI Petro may send you recurring automated marketing and service text messages at the mobile number you provided, including messages sent using an automatic telephone dialing system.

Consent to receive marketing text messages is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services from GTI Petro, and it is not a condition of enrolling in any program, receiving a quote, or obtaining service.

You represent that you are at least 18 years old, that the mobile number you provide is yours or that you are authorized to consent for the account holder, and that you will tell us promptly if the number is reassigned or is no longer yours.

3. Message Frequency

Message frequency varies and depends on your activity with us. Service and transactional messages are sent as events occur — typically only when you have an open service request, an appointment, or an invoice. Promotional messages are sent no more than four (4) times per month.

4. Cost

Message and data rates may apply. GTI Petro does not charge for the Program, but your wireless carrier may charge you for messages you send or receive, depending on your plan. Check with your carrier if you are unsure. You are responsible for any charges from your carrier.

5. How to Opt Out

Reply STOP to any message from us. You may also reply QUIT, END, REVOKE, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, or OPT OUT. We will send one final message confirming that you have been unsubscribed, and then we will stop.

You may also revoke consent by any other reasonable means — email us at info@gtipetro.com, call 1-888-450-0484, or tell any GTI Petro employee. We honor an opt-out received by any reasonable method, and we process it within ten (10) business days at the latest, and normally immediately.

Opting out of text messages does not cancel your service, your subscription, or any agreement with us, and does not stop email or telephone contact. If you later want messages again, opt in again using any of the methods in Section 2.

7. Your Mobile Data Is Not Shared

No mobile information — including your telephone number — collected through SMS opt-in, and no consent to receive text messages, will be shared with any third party or affiliate for its marketing or promotional purposes.

Text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent are excluded from every category of information sharing described in our Privacy Policy. The only party that receives your mobile number in connection with the Program is the licensed messaging platform provider that transmits the messages on our behalf, which is contractually prohibited from using it for any other purpose.

We do not sell, rent, lease, or otherwise disclose mobile telephone numbers, opt-in data, or text-message consent records to any third party.

8. Supported Carriers and Delivery

The Program is available on major U.S. wireless carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery is subject to effective transmission by your carrier and is not guaranteed. Do not rely on text messages for emergency communication.

In an emergency — a fuel leak, fire, spill, or any condition that endangers people, property, or the environment — call 911, then call GTI Petro at 1-888-450-0484. Do not text.

9. Privacy

Information you provide in connection with the Program is handled as described in our Privacy Policy at www.gtipetro.com/legal/privacy-policy, subject to the additional protections in Section 7 above.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these SMS Terms & Conditions from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Last Updated" date and version number above and post the current version at www.gtipetro.com. If we materially change the nature or frequency of the messages you receive, we will tell you and, where required, obtain your consent again.
